UFC Fight Night 219 post-event facts: Mayra Bueno Silva gets a first-time octagon finish

The UFC’s February schedule rolled on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 219, which took place at the UF Apex in Las Vegas and saw the emergence of a new contender.

Erin Blanchfield (11-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) kept building on her growing star in the women’s flyweight division when she largely dominated former UFC champ Jessica Andrade (24-10 MMA, 15-8 UFC) en route to a second-round submission in the main event.

Event stats

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout for the event totaled $158,000.

Debuting fighters went 3-3 at the event.

Blanchfield, Mayra Bueno Silva, Nazim Sadykhov and Evan Elder earned $50,000 UFC Fight Night 219 fight-night bonuses.

The UFC sold VIP tickets to fans for UFC Fight Night 219, but the promotion did not make public the total number of tickets sold or the gate.

Betting favorites went 8-3 on the card.

Betting favorites fell to 3-2 in UFC headliners this year.

Total fight time for the 11-bout card was 1:52:39.

Blanchfield’s five-fight UFC winning streak at women’s flyweight is tied with Manon Fiorot for the second-longest active streak in the division behind Valentina Shevchenko (nine).

Blanchfield has earned all three of her UFC stoppage victories by submission.

Blanchfield’s three submission victories in UFC women’s flyweight competition are tied with Montana De La Rosa for second-most in divisional history behind Gillian Robertson (six).

Blanchfield has landed at least one takedown in four of her five UFC appearances.

Andrade has suffered seven of her 10 career losses by stoppage.

Andrade has suffered both of her UFC women’s flyweight stoppage losses by stoppage.

Zac Pauga def. Jordan Wright

Zac Pauga (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) has earned five of his six career victories by decision.

Jordan Wright’s (12-5 MMA, 2-5 UFC) four-fight losing skid is the longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since May 2021.

Wright fell to 1-5 in his past six fights after starting his career on a 12-fight unbeaten streak.

Wright suffered the first decision loss of his career.

William Knight’s (11-5 MMA, 3-4 UFC) three-fight losing skid is the longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since December 2021.

Knight has suffered three of his four UFC losses by decision.

Alexander Hernandez (14-6 MMA, 6-5 UFC) was successful in his return to the lightweight division.

Jim Miller (35-17 MMA, 24-16 UFC) has suffered 12 of his 17 career losses by decision.

Sadykhov (8-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has earned seven of his eight career victories by stoppage.

Elder (7-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) has suffered consecutive losses after starting his career 7-0.

Elder suffered the first stoppage loss of his career with a doctor’s stoppage TKO defeat.

Silva’s (10-2-1 MMA, 5-2-1 UFC) three-fight UFC winning streak at women’s bantamweight is the second-longest active streak in the division behind Raquel Pennington (four).

Silva’s has earned eight of her 10 career victories by stoppage. That includes four of her five UFC wins.

Silva earned the first kneebar submission victory in UFC women’s bantamweight history.

Lina Lansberg’s (10-8 MMA, 4-6 UFC) four-fight losing skid is the longest of her career. She hasn’t earned a victory since September 2019.

Lansberg suffered the first submission loss of her career.

Khusein Askhabov (23-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) had his 23-fight winning streak snapped for the first defeat of his career.

Lins has earned 13 of his 16 career victories by stoppage.

Ovince Saint Preux (26-17 MMA, 14-12 UFC) fell to 3-7 in his past 10 fights dating back to February 2018.
