The final UFC event before the promotion takes a one-week pause goes down Saturday with UFC Fight Night 241 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas (ESPN+).

A clash of ranked featherweights serves as the five-round main event. UFC’s all-time Fight of the Night leader Edson Barboza (24-11 MMA, 18-11 UFC) returns to action once again, and he accepts another strong test in the former of undefeated Lerone Murphy (13-0-1 MMA, 5-0-1 UFC).

Barboza is 4-3 since he dropped to the featherweight division in May 2020.

Barboza’s 16 knockdowns landed in UFC competition are fourth-most in company history behind Donald Cerrone (20), Anderson Silva (18), and Jeremy Stephens (18).

Barboza’s seven knockout victories in UFC lightweight competition are tied with Melvin Guillard for third-most in divisional history behind Drew Dober (nine) and Dustin Poirier (eight).

Barboza is the only fighter in UFC history with knockout finishes stemming from a head kick, body punch, body kick, leg kicks, and flying knee.

Barboza has earned six knockouts in UFC competition stemming from a knee or kick, the second-most in company history behind Cerrone (seven).

Barboza is one of two fighters in UFC history to earn multiple leg kick TKO victories. Jonathan Martinez also accomplished the feat.

Barboza has been awarded nine Fight of the Night bonuses, the most in company history.

Barboza is one of 10 fighters in UFC history to be awarded with 12 or more career fight night bonuses.

Murphy’s six-fight unbeaten streak in UFC featherweight competition is tied with Ilia Topuria for the second-longest active streak in the division behind Movsar Evloev (seven).

Murphy’s five-fight winning streak in UFC featherweight competition is tied for the third-longest active streak in the division behind Evloev (seven) and Topuria (six).

Angela Hill (16-13 MMA, 11-13 UFC) competes in her 24th UFC strawweight bout, the most appearances in divisional history.

Hill becomes the second female in UFC history to make 25 octagon appearances. Jessica Andrade was first to accomplish the feat.

Hill is 10-10 since she returned to the UFC for a second stint in February 2017.

Hill’s 10 victories in UFC strawweight competition are tied with Andrade, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Carla Esparza for most in divisional history.

Hill’s two knockout victories in UFC strawweight competition are tied for third-most in divisional history behind Andrade (four) and Amanda Lemos (three).

Hill’s three knockdowns landed in UFC strawweight competition are fourth-most in divisional history behind Andrade (nine), Lemos (six) and Rose Namajunas (four).

Hill has landed 1,896 significant strikes in UFC competition, the second-most in company history behind Max Holloway (3,378).

Hill’s 13 losses in UFC competition are the most by any female in company history.
